Overview
Brian Johnson’s practice primarily involves real estate, banking, and commercial finance. He represents lenders and borrowers in commercial finance transactions, troubled debt restructuring, and debt enforcement actions. He also represents lenders and developers in connection with the acquisition, sale, development, and financing of developed and undeveloped properties and represents lessors and lessees in the preparation and negotiation of commercial and residential leases. In addition, Brian is a licensed title insurance agent in Louisiana and writes title for First American Title Insurance Company. Brian has been recognized for his real estate practice by New Orleans Magazine as one of their “Top Lawyers of New Orleans” and by the Best Lawyers in America.
Brian is a New Jersey native who attended Dartmouth College in New Hampshire where he was an offensive guard on the football team and earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Government. Upon graduating, Brian made the move to New Orleans to attend the Tulane University School of Law. After starting his career with a Manhattan law firm, he returned to New Orleans in 2004 to practice law.
